NEMOURS
PERSPECTIVE
Let’s really think for a minute about what success looks like for a health system that serves children. A hospital building, doctors, and medicine are just the tip of the iceberg. Children’s health is influenced by a whole spectrum of factors like open spaces to play. Clean air. Clean water. Healthy foods. Safe schools. Engaged parents. And…yes…empty hospital beds. Because when the beds are empty, that shows you the health system is working.
A new logo and a new brand identity captured the essence of the interwoven nature of children’s health and their environment. Brand colors moved from corporate red and blue to an approachable, optimistic, kid-friendly seafoam green.
Nemours has turned the philosophy of children’s healthcare on its head. Where are they headed next? Here’s the story of their journey.

You hear a lot about “influencers” these days. Kids have been way ahead of us all along. They’ve always had influencers. Who are they? Parents of course. But also schoolteachers. Neighbors. Legislators influencing policy on everything from environment to the foods they eat. This campaign helps then all sit up and take notice of the profound influence they have on the future of children.

We got some help from an influencer mom and chef Robbie Jester to help parents prepare healthy foods ways kids will actually eat.
